Why Keshi Organics?
Hiya, I'm Karen Wood and I'm the creator of Keshi Organics.
Having had an aversion to chemicals, especially in skincare, I've always tried to source moisturisers that would rehydrate my skin naturally. I found that even though I would use "natural" or 'organic" etc, some products still caused adverse reactions such as itchyness or burning. This is what led me into researching what was actually in them. Once I learned to read labels and realized the enormity of the amount of undesirable ingredients used, such as parabens, preservatives, animal products (yuk!) thickeners, additives, chemicals, and all sorts of other ingredients that I hadn't even heard of. It just put me off. Not only that, it seemed unnecessary. Did they really have to use all these tricks in the book to make them feel good, smell and look nice? Was that what people wanted? What about actually nourishing your skin?
Because of the difficulty I had in finding creams and lotions that I was happy to use, I would resort to using cold pressed oils. My skin was certainly hydrated and looked nourished, but it wasn't always practical. For instance if I was going out I would have to let the oils soak in for a while and I was forever sitting around the house in my sarong waiting for this to happen!
Having been lucky enough for people to comment on the good condition of my skin - I began to wonder - How can I use the goodness of cold pressed oils in a more acceptable formula? My goal was to provide these oils in a format that other people were familiar with, that is, creams & lotions. And so began the long journey to formulate a skin care range using the beneficial oils that I knew and loved
Keshi Organics - organic skincare tested on humans, not animals.
My testing group was a diverse age group with all different skin types, including sensitive. All my "testers" have reported improved skin texture, tone and hydration. There have been no reports of irritations. One young "testee" even said that her acne cleared up! Another "testee" with mature skin said that it was the first winter in years that her skin hadn't become dry. Another said that marks on her face were reduced. I was thrilled that the improvement in their skin was so evident - the results certainly spoke for themselves. I don't make "fantastic" promises, but do guarantee that if you use Keshi Organics creams and lotions on a daily basis your skin will certainly be nourished and look it's best.

What's special about Keshi Organics
Keshi Organics is unique even in the world of organic skincare as we don't use thickeners such as stearic acid or xanthan gum in our products. Cheap and used to make the lotion feel silky, thicker and generally look good - they have no benefits for your skin - and that's why we don't use them!. Most likely you'll find these ingredients listed quite highly in the ingredient listing of other creams and lotions....Our creams & lotions are not full of thickeners, preservatives and additives so they can last for years!.

The amount of chemicals that we ingest and apply topically is staggering. All topical substances either penetrate or affect the skins surface. What are you using? The good news is that if the bad can be absorbed so can the good. Thankfully more and more people are becoming aware of what they put on their skin and in their bodies. Skincare and food are the easiest steps to take toward reducing your daily toxins and improving your general health.

We all want to look our best. Start with the basics. Use Keshi organics for your skin care, eat the best quality healthy food you can afford, or even better - what you have grown yourself. Of course - drink lots of water and - very important - move your body every day. Following these guidelines will take 10 years off your age! No need for expensive cosmetic surgery, botox or these fad diets that have made our nation not only obese but depressed and miserable.

I now have a lovely cottage in the south west with an organic garden which i love, and I'm also in Karratha, we recently moved there with my husbands work, so we get to enjoy the best of both worlds.....and of course Jock, our totally spoilt cairn terrier gets to come everywhere with us!
